Building Online Training:  Offering the Beta

One of the hardest things in business is getting from the theoretical to the applied. Getting from talking in a room and thinking about what customers might want to actually helping customers.

And this can be a real challenge for online training.

So how do you bridge the gap?

Enter the Beta

Beta testing is key – get some customers to try the early version on for size.

And in turn for feedback the customer enjoys a discount and more hands-on service.

It can be a real win-win.

In his book, The Lean Start-up, Eric Reis suggests just this strategy with taking new products to market.

In real life we at McBride For Business use this strategy too.
